What is your organization's mission?
Congregation Beth Elohim (CBE) is a welcoming and inclusive synagogue, proudly rooted in Jewish history and identity, profoundly open to different backgrounds and divergent points of view. We come together to learn, celebrate and worship, honoring each individual’s search for an authentic relationship to the divine. We are a preeminent Brooklyn institution, a spiritual, cultural and intellectual center for Jewish revitalization, fostering community and extending our congregational values of justice, education and inspiration throughout the neighborhoods where we live and beyond.

What activities do you offer?
Congregation Beth Elohim, fondly known as CBE, offers authentic, meaningful and outside the box Jewish experiences for those in our Brooklyn community and beyond.

How would you describe your community?
We are deeply committed to education for all ages, community-building, spiritual life, and social justice. We are inspired to learn about our tradition while we engage with the present and positively impact our future. Our Reform congregation welcomes seekers from all Jewish movements, from other faiths, and at all levels of Jewish experience, including those who are new to our traditions and those who are questioning.

What is the accessibility of your site?
We have elevators throughout most of our campus in addition to stairs, ramps, and a chairlift.
