What is your organization's mission?
Repair the World Brooklyn has served in Crown Heights and neighboring communities since 2014. We mobilize Jews and their communities to take action to pursue a just world, igniting a lifelong commitment to service. Young adults, families, & teens work together with our staff & Fellows to address pressing needs with our service partners.
What activities do you offer?
Repair the World Brooklyn's young adult programming includes a two-year Fellowship, a part-time Service Corps, and regular episodic service-learning opportunities across Brooklyn. Brooklyn Repair also runs programs for teens and families, including a Teen Service Corps each summer. Our Crown Heights-based workshop at 808 Nostrand Ave acts as a community space, emergency distribution center, and a home base for our staff and fellows.

Engaged volunteers meeting local needs across Brooklyn, grounding our service in reflection, education, and Jewish values.
