Venue and Social Club in Park Slope

Park Slope

What is your organization's mission?
The Club was founded in 1889 and its magnificent Club House was designed by famed New York architect Francis H. Kimball, inspired by a palace on Venice’s Grand Canal. The Club House was completed in 1891 and its Venetian gothic architecture, carved mahogany woodwork, and beautiful stained glass windows remain its signature features. We continue to honor the spirit in which the club was founded by striving to be an open, inclusive place for people of goodwill to gather and socialize.

What activities do you offer?
The Montauk Club offers dining service in its beautiful dining room, and when the weather permits, on the loggia and balconies. Small rooms are also available for reservation for intimate dinner parties and gatherings. The ballroom is often the venue for larger membership dining functions. Whatever event -wedding, anniversary celebration, dinner party, business conference, concert - the Montauk Club can accommodate you and is dedicated to carrying out your vision and ensuring smooth transitions, with every detail remembered. We set the stage for a classic New York affair. The Dining Room and Ballroom provide the flexibility to host a crowd, while private meeting rooms provide for the needs of more intimate gatherings. Your wedding begins in an elegant space that provides an ideal location for your ceremony, cocktail reception, seated dinner, and dancing.
